HA NOI

Ha Noi half-day city tour (half day)

With a millennium-long history, Hanoi is a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks dotted with French-styled buildings and historical monuments. The half day city tour features both cultural and historical highlights, comprising Ngoc Son Temple inside Lake Hoan Kiem, the Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum, the old quarters and a downtown pedicab ride (1 hour). The tour also offers an opportunity for shopping and socializing with the local people.

Ha Long Bay (full day)

About 170km from Ha Noi, Ha Long Bay is one of the most magnificent scenic spots in all of Vietnam and was recognised as a world natural heritage by UNESCO in 1994. It is a picturesque bay with some 1969 islets rising from the clear emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Cruising (4 hours) in the tranquility of Ha Long Bay and a visit to 2 limestone caves with colourful stalagmites & stalactites give an unforgettable experience. Lunch of fresh sea food will be arranged on board.

Ninh Binh (full day)

Ninh Binh, some 100km south of Hanoi, offers a world of natural and cultural heritage to explore. Stop by Hoa Lu, capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, known to travellers as Vietnam‘s “inland Halong Bay”. After visiting two temples in commemoration of King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh in the ancient capital, take a leisurely sampan cruise on a creek crossing large stretches of flooded valley, divided by numerous magnificent grottoes with huge stalactites.

DA NANG

Da Nang city tour (half day)

Da Nang is a city of contrasts, sparkling seaside beauty and spectacular mountain scenery. Rich in history, it has been the centre of many different cultures over the centuries. A half day city tour in Da Nang features the Marble Mountains, the Non Nuoc carving village, the Cham Museum and a pedicab ride (1 hour) along the Han River to shopping centres.

Hoi An ancient town (half day)

Recognized as a world cultural heritage in late 1999, the living museum of Hoi An boasts a delightful mixture of ancient structures and local residents’ modern life. It creates a unique image of a modern-day town in the atmosphere of bygone days. Join the tour to wander leisurely past antique structures: residential houses, assembly halls, pagodas, markets, observe local daily activities, gaze at handicraft skills and see a lively show of traditional dancing & music.

Hue city tour (full day)

100km north of Da Nang (by highway), the tour brings visitors to the historic city of Hue, once the political, cultural and religious heart of Vietnam. Contemplate the treasures of the Hue Citadel, the tombs of King Tu Duc and King Khai Dinh and the hustle of the Dong Ba Market, famous for its best conical hats in Vietnam. A performance of ancient dancing and court music, a world intangible heritage recognized by UNESCO in 2003, is presented in the citadel.

HO CHI MINH CITY

Saigon city tour (half day)

The tour will take you around the busiest city of Vietnam, from downtown Saigon to Chinatown, in order to get a general view of a developing city. You will get to know its history and culture with stops at the History Museum and Thien Hau Temple. You will not only learn about the past but also get a glimpse of the daily life of stall and street vendors at the Binh Tay Market and see other places of interests such as Notre Dame Cathedral, the Municipal Post Office, etc. A stopover at a local market will help you to pick up some unique gifts for your beloved.

Cu Chi Tunnels (half day)

Cu Chi used to be a bitter battleground for many years during the Vietnam War. Visitors cannot miss a visit to this “underground village”, an intricate network of over 200km-long tunnels at Ben Duoc, 75 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Try a very short segment of this labyrinth of interlaced tunnels and you will find it incredible. Then you can make a stop at the Ben Duoc War Memorial (over 40,000 people have fallen) before testing your marksmanship with an AK rifle at local rifle range (optional with surcharge).

A glance at the Mekong Delta (full day)

The most typical and convenient destination for a day trip to the Mekong Delta is My Tho. The town of My Tho lies on the left side of the Mekong River and just a two-hour drive from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors will enjoy a cruise on the Mekong River and then ride on a hand-rowed sampan through small inlets under the green canopy of water-coconut trees to catch a glimpse of the daily activities of the local people. A visit to an orchard islet to observe the pastoral life and enjoy coconut milk, seasonal fruit, honey tea and lunch of country delicacies will also be arranged.
